Seeking an Academic Coach – Level 1

Providing the opportunity to build a thriving clientele of students and parents who subscribe to weekly coaching. The Academic Coach will receive training, to be able to use Advok8’s proprietary coaching solution fully.

The Academic Coach will be able to build their group of student clients to create a successful online business. Advok8 is looking for individuals who can pass certifications associated with interacting with high school and college students.

Advok8 is looking for individuals with the work characteristics and personality traits to become an Advok8 coach. Advok8 is looking for self-starters and individuals who would take great satisfaction in helping our students achieve better grades, save time and realize lower levels of stress as they progress through their academic careers.

Advok8 Academic Coaching allows the Academic Coach to coach students, and tutor students, on an hourly basis. The proprietary nature of Advok8 is to analyze each student, and their course syllabus and translate this into our academic project management plan. We provide the web application, a back office to complete initial data entry of the students’ syllabi and the Advok8 appointment system. The Academic Coach provides the weekly coaching service, and tutorial services on demand.

The ideal Academic Coach and Tutor must be computer savvy, have the personal skills to work virtually, be talented at working with students through the Advok8 telepresence systems, and be a great representative of Advok8, www.advok8.life To apply for this position, the candidate must complete three things.

"Experiences and Skills"

The candidate will have the following experiences:

• Mandatory: At least two years working as a public or private school educator at any level.
• Preferred: At least a four-year degree in education, general studies, or STEM studies, reflecting academic experiences indicative of becoming a great Advok8 Coach and/or Tutor
• Mandatory: A home office, broadband access, and computer equipment (computer, camera, audio) can interact successfully with the Advok8 Academic Coaching web application.

The candidate will have the following skills:

• Mandatory: Ability to become an Advok8 Academic Coach with demonstrable interpersonal skills, including excellent communication, motivation, nurturing, and inspirational skills required to coach students within our system.
• Mandatory: Ability to self-start and manage your own business to achieve your own professional and financial goals.
• Mandatory: Candidates must have passed or be able to pass Criminal background checks, the state clearances to work with children and an Advok8 adherence to protect parent and child confidentiality.
• Preferred: Our initial territory is Western Pennsylvania territory. While not exclusive, it is where we would like to find our first round of coaches.

This position will be designed to work remotely with flexible hours. Based upon experience in our system, the Academic Coach has the ability to progress from Level 1 to Level 3, solely based upon reviews from students. Furthermore, Advok8 is set up to pay each coach for each hour they bill. This is an Uber-like model. You sell hours, you deliver coaching/tutoring, and you get paid promptly.
